About Me
My name is Jane Tjon Tjauw Liem. I have worked in the airline industry for 4 years. In my last job I was responsible for the long term schedule adjustments between Amsterdam and China. I have a background in Information Systems and Management and worked on several business integration and migration projects in the role of IT specialist and project manager.
When I’m not at work I like to socialize with friends and family in real life and through social media. I am always eager to learn about the latest developments on online media and the effect this way of communicating has effect on people inside companies but also to a broader extend. I like to meet new people and discovering concepts and ideas which give me inspiration in every possible way. This summer I co-organized the TEDx Amsterdam Live event in the Netherlands. This is a description of me according to some internet application and I must say it’s pretty much how I could describe myself: approachable, enthusiastic, energetic, open-minded, positive, animated – You are a positive spirit bundled with insatiable enthusiasm. You aren’t hesitant about diving head first into new adventures and relationships. Although you might find yourself surrounded by people similar to you, you are about as open-minded as can be. You love to absorb yourself into different cuisines, different sights, different cultures and even different opinions. That’s why, when seeking a romantic partner it’s more important to you that they possess the same enthusiasm for life and love, rather than the same stance on a political proposition. There are few things you find more attractive and appealing than meeting that special someone who can hold his or her own in a debate AND go adventuring with you.
